One is hard to reach and I'd have to show people. It's public access, but park the car on the road and walk under the bridge. Neches river. It's slow moving, but I've caught a few catfish in it of 7-8".

Another good spot is Cuney bridge on HWY 175. Cross the bridge on the west side and when you get to the east side turn left and park down towards the bottom. Might not work so well now with all the construction they are doing on the bridge. Again, public access. Same sort of fish as the one above.

A lot of people around here go just south of the Lake Palestine dam. Hwy 175 to CR 305 (north) and there's a boat ramp if you turn left into the area to go to the lake or you can stay on the road and it curves to the back side of the dam and that's where people I know say they've caught a lot of fish.

There's a couple of other spots I can think of, all public access, but I would have to point out while driving.]]>

<![CDATA[Going to check out a wall cutout]]> http://etba.info/forum/index.php?tid=832&tpg=1#p4974 as Tecumseh once said you can never spend to much time watching the bees

sounds like you did every thing right I bet all will go well if you have a little flow or give them some food
congratulation on cut out

David

As for the correct orientation, I tried to put them in correct. Dan loaded the frames with the cutout brood/honey comb while I put rubber bands on the frames to hold the comb in and then put them in the hive. As I put them in I tried to keep honey on outside and brood inside.

These bees are mostly black and not really mean. I was watching them after the entrance reducer came off. Wearing a t-shirt and short pants. I was within 3 feet of the hive and none tried to sting or headbutt. They did check me out, flying around me and back into the hive. I watched them about 30 minutes. I went back out again a few hours later and watched some more.]]>

<![CDATA[Going to check out a wall cutout]]> http://etba.info/forum/index.php?tid=832&tpg=1#p4972 if you got combs of eggs and young larva and put inf frames correct orientation they will most likely make new queen just leave them go about their business including foraging they need pollen bathroom breaks ect.
good luck
